Audio Visual Locks
SecurTech offers two types of cable locks to secure your A/V equipment from theft. 
Universal Cable Locks
This type of lock connects to a flat-panel TV, projector or other device using the standard built-in security slot. It is very clean and easy to install as well as to unlock and reconfigure. It is primarily a theft deterrant and offers a relatively modest level of physical security.
Permanently Attached Anchors
This type of cable lock adheres to your device with a poweful adhesive that cannot be removed without damaging the equipment. This provides a much higher level of visual and physical security.

Here are a few questions to ask before you make your choice.
Is this a personal device or is it institutionally owned? Most individuals are willing to sacrifice a certain amount of security in order not to permanently mark their personal electronics. SecurTech offers Universal Cable Lock Kits for this purpose. Institutional buyers (schools, hospitals, etc.), should prioritize physical security above aesthetics. Institutions should choose a permanently attached solution such as the SecurTech Spot Anchor system.
Does this equipment remain in one place, or is it moved around? If you need to move this device from place to place, choose a universal cable lock kit that can be detached easily and can be coiled and tucked into a carry case. If it is primarily used in a single location, choose a more physically secure cable lock that attaches to a wall, cart or mounting bracket.
Do you also need to secure peripheral devices? If you have multiple devices in the same area such as on an A/V cart, you can secure them all with a single cable lock. Additional universal Scissor Clip attachments can be used to integrate devices with standard security slots. Additional Spot Anchors can be used to integrate devices without security slots.
