About SecurTech

Since 1986 SecurTech has manufactured anti-theft devices to physically secure electronic equipment from theft. Choose a computer lock, laptop lock, cable lock or other anti-theft device for securing audio-visual or other electronic equipment. The patented Spot Anchor computer lock system is used in private and public-sector institutions throughout North America.

The company was founded by Robert Perry, a machinist and model-maker at the California Institute of Technology, then the University of Hawaii, and finally Lewis and Clark College. He developed the SecurTech computer lock system to prevent theft of computers and A/V equipment on campus.

Mr. Perry's philosophy was to combine strong physical security with permanent marking on the equipment. He also believed in manufacturing high-quality, made-in-the-USA products. The SecurTech computer lock product line is the result of this strong philosophy combined with decades of experience and years of field testing.

The SecurTech assets were acquired from the Perry family in 2009 by a former employee and partners. The SecurTech offices were moved a few miles down the road from Lake Oswego, OR to Tigard, OR in 2010. The strong tradition of quality products and personal service has been combined with an updated business and technological approach.
