Unlike laptop computers, iPads and other eReaders do not typically have a built-in security slot. SecurTech offers three options for securing devices without a security slot.

The first option is the SecurTech Security Slot Adapter, which adds a standard security slot to any device. This adapter attaches to your iPad with a liquid adhesive that forms an extremely powerful bond. Then you can use a standard universal security cable to lock your down your iPad.

The second option for securing your iPad is a Spot® Anchor cable lock. This provides the highest level of theft protection for iPads and eReaders in institutional settings. This includes hospitals, labs, libraries, and other environments where the device does not require portability.

The anchor attaches with a liquid adhesive that forms an extremely powerful bond. They are available in two shapes: round or narrow (pictured at left). They are also available with different lengths of attached cable, from just a small loop up to a 48" cable with a loop on the end (36" attached cable pictured at left).
 
Spot Anchor iPad Locks





The third option is a KeepTabs® cable lock. KeepTabs have low profile anchors and small gauge cables. They provide effective theft deterrence for iPads and eReaders in retail or trade show displays. The anchors can be attached permanently or temporarily depending on the adhesive used.

Temporary Attachment - Silicone Rubber Adhesive is used to temporarily adhere a KeepTabs anchor to an iPad or eReader. It forms a very strong bond, yet can be detatched using the proper tools.

Permanent Attachment - SecurTech Close Bond Adhesive is used to permenantly adhere a KeepTabs anchor to an iPad or eReader. This adhesive forms an extremely powerful bond.

The above devices can be utilized as an iPad 1 lock, iPad 2 lock, Kindle lock, tablet lock, eBook lock, Galaxy Tab lock, TouchPad lock, or anti-theft device for any other tablet PC or eReader. If it has a small flat surface area to attach an anchor to, your device can be secured.
